It may take some time for the monsoon to arrive in UP, which the farmers are waiting for. Crops are withering due to the lack of rain, and farmers are suffering. Rain alert in these districts of UP
According to the Meteorological Department, an alert for heavy rain accompanied by thunder has been issued in many districts of UP. Heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms are being reported in the Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Siddharth Nagar, and Balrampur districts of the state. Apart from these, heavy rains can occur in Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur and Hardoi.
A heavy rain warning has been issued in Pilibhit, Bareilly, Rampur and Bandayu. An alert has been issued for rain with thunderstorms and lightning in Sambhal, Etawah, Hathrath, and Aligarh. Winds are also likely to blow at speeds of 30 to 40 kilometres per hour in all these districts.
Severe heat alert here
According to the IMD, severe heat is expected in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. Among these, a severe heat alert has been issued in Lalitpur, Jhansi, Jalaun, and Mahoba. The period of intense heat may also continue in Hamirpur, Chitrakoot, Fatehpur, and Kanpur. It is also expected that the period of intense heat will continue in Etawah, Firozabad, Agra and Mathura.
When will the monsoon arrive?
According to IMD, the monsoon is now gradually gaining speed, and the wait is about to end. It is expected that between 20 and 25 June, monsoon clouds will arrive in U; an alert for heavy rain has been issued. As soon as the monsoon comes, people are likely to get relief from the heat due to rain in all parts of UP.
