New Delhi: Monsoon rains are at their peak these days in most parts of India. In Uttar Pradesh, it seems as if rain has become a disaster. Water has entered many cities and villages. Continuous rain has caused waterlogging in small towns, where people have to take the help of boats to walk on the roads. A cloudburst caused devastation in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand.

The stream of water and debris destroyed the village, where many people also lost their lives. Due to continuous rain in Uttarakhand, the army and NDRF personnel have rescued people and taken them to safe places. The next 24 hours are not going to be easy for some states. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in various parts of the country.

There will be heavy rain here in 24 hours

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain at many places in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh in the next 24 hours. Apart from these, heavy rain is expected in Bihar, Jharkhand, Kerala and Karnataka. Heavy rains may occur in many areas of Northeast India, West Bengal, Bihar, Telangana, and Maharashtra.

Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Konkan and Goa may also witness heavy rains. Light to moderate rain warning has been issued in Rayalaseema, Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Heavy rains may also occur in Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, and Sikkim. Heavy rains may continue in Nagaland, Puducherry, Mizoram and Tripura.

Rivers and drains are in spate here

Rain in the past few days has affected normal life in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Flood conditions have been created due to the rise in the water level of the Ganga, Ramganga, Anga and Koshi rivers. Water has entered houses in many places. Apart from these, a lot of water is also coming in small rivers, due to which forests have been flooded.

Landslides have also occurred in Uttarakhand due to continuous rain, resulting in the closure of many routes. Passers-by are facing difficulties. An alert has also been issued for rain in the coming few hours. There is no relief from the rain disaster yet.
