UP Rain Alert: The weather has become pleasant due to continuous rain in Uttar Pradesh, but the situation remains bad as many districts are in the grip of floods. Roads have become dilapidated due to waterlogging, due to which disrupts vehicle traffic is also disrupted. Flood water has entered hundreds of villages, from where people are being evacuated and taken to safe places. Raksha Bandhan festival will be celebrated across the country on 9 August.

The weather can disturb this bond of love between brother and sister. Movement of clouds is being seen since morning in western Uttar Pradesh, where the temperature level has also dropped. Talking about eastern UP, the havoc of rain along with the thunder of clouds is also being seen at many places. IMD has predicted heavy rain in various districts of Uttar Pradesh. Rain warning in these districts of UP

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a heavy rain alert has been issued in Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Sonbhadra, Banda, Chitrakoot and Kaushambi on August 8, i.e. today. Apart from these, heavy rain is also expected in Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Ravidas Nagar and Jaunpur. Heavy rain with thunder and lightning is expected in Ghazipur, Ballia and Etah.

Torrential rain is also expected in Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Nagar and Kanpur Dehat. Heavy rain is expected in Unnao, Rae Bareli, Saharanpur, Aligarh and Mathura. There is also a possibility of heavy rain in Hathras, Kasganj and Agra. Given the possibility of lightning, instructions have been given to take precautions.

IMD has issued an alert of rain with wind in Firozabad, Mainpuri, Auraiya, Bijnor and Amroha. Apart from these, heavy rains are also expected in Moradabad, Rampur, Sambhal, Badaun and Jalaun. Heavy rains are also expected in districts like Hamirpur and Mahoba.

If IMD is to be believed, torrential rains may occur again in the Terai region from August 11. Rains are expected in UP’s capital, Lucknow, today with cloudy weather.
