Weather Update: The weather is expected to remain clear in Uttar Pradesh. With the sun shining throughout the day in all areas, a bumper increase in the temperature level can be seen. Movement of clouds was seen in the early morning in western UP, but now the weather is clear. The scorching sun is seen making people sweat.

The temperature can be recorded above 40 degrees in some cities. Rain, thunderstorms and thunder can also be seen in some districts of western UP. Strong winds are also expected in Awadh-Purvanchal. Rain is expected in many districts of Purvanchal. You can see below what the weather will be like in each district.

Rain alert in these districts

According to the IMD, a warning of rain with thunderstorms and storms has been issued in many districts of western UP. Thunderstorms and rain are expected in Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, and Bareilly, western Uttar Pradesh. Apart from these, rain can be seen in Bijnor, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal and Badaun. Along with this, lightning is possible in Amroha, Moradabad and Rampur. Strong winds are expected to blow at 30 to 40 kilometres per hour in these areas.

Possibility of rain with wind in these districts

The Meteorological Department has predicted a period of rain with strong winds in the districts of Awadh and Purvanchal region, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar and Basti. Along with these, there can be a period of rain in Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri and Siddharth Nagar. Strong winds can also blow along with lightning in Balrampur, where people have been advised to be cautious. Winds of 40 to 50 kilometres per hour can blow here.

Rain in Rajasthan too

According to the IMD, heavy rain and storms may occur in many areas of Rajasthan. Thunderstorms and rain are expected in the state. Rain is expected in 90 per cent of Rajasthan. Heavy rain may occur in Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara and Bundi. Heavy rain may also cause disasters in Chittorgarh, Dausa, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, and Jhunjhunu. Rain may occur in Karauli, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur and Sikar. Strong winds may also blow here.
