Monsoon Forecast – Intense cold has gripped many parts of the country, making it difficult to venture outdoors. Impact of Rain in Kashmir

According to the Meteorological Department, snowfall is occurring in the hilly areas of Kashmir. Travellers are advised to check conditions before traveling to mountainous regions. The sun was not visible in the Kashmir Valley yesterday. The intense cold continues to increase. However, a slight improvement in the minimum night temperature has been recorded. In many areas, the mercury has risen above freezing point, hovering around zero degrees Celsius.

Increasing Cold in Rajasthan

According to the IMD, the impact of the cold wave is increasing in Rajasthan. Minimum and maximum temperatures are continuously falling. The minimum temperature in Nagaur is expected to be around 3.6 degrees Celsius, 3.7 degrees in Fatehpur (Sikar), and 5.3 degrees in Sikar.

The weather is expected to remain clear in most parts of the state for the next two or three days. Cloudy conditions are also expected in some areas of the state.

Rain Expected in These States

According to the IMD, rainfall is expected in several parts of South India. Thunderstorms and rain are expected in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the next 24 hours. Lightning strikes are also expected in many areas. Heavy rainfall with thunder and lightning is predicted in Puducherry. Rain and thunderstorms are also expected in some parts of Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka.
