9 Colours for the Nine Days of Navratri
On the first day of Navratri, Goddess Shailputri is worshipped. Wearing white clothes is considered highly auspicious. It is believed that Goddess Shailputri is fond of this colour.
On the second day of Navratri, Goddess Brahmacharini is worshipped. Wearing red clothes on this day is considered auspicious. Red symbolises energy, courage, and devotion.
On the third day of Navratri, Goddess Chandraghanta is worshipped. Dark blue clothes are worn on this day. This colour removes negative energies from life.
The fourth day of Navratri is dedicated to Goddess Kushmanda. Yellow clothes are worn on this day.
