When do summer vacations begin in UP?

Consequently, summer vacations in government schools across Uttar Pradesh will kick off on May 20. This break will apply to schools in all districts, including the capital cities of Lucknow, Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Agra. It’s important to note that schools will be closed for a total of 27 days this summer. Additionally, summer camps will be held during this period.

How long will schools be closed?

Surendra Kumar Tiwari, the UP Basic Education Secretary, has stated that summer vacations for all government and aided schools in UP will start on May 20 and last until June 15, 2026. Furthermore, students in grades 9, 10, and 12 may be invited back to school for a few days after May 20 for extra classes. Through the summer camps organized in Uttar Pradesh schools, children will have the opportunity to participate in fun learning and extracurricular activities. The Basic Education Department has already begun its preparations for this.

When does summer vacation start in Delhi?

The summer vacation for the academic session 2026 in Delhi government schools will be from May 11, 2026, to June 30, 2026. According to the DirectorEate of Education (DoE), these vacations will be for approximately 51 days, but remedial classes (special classes) will be held from May 11 to May 23, 2026, for classes 9, 10, and 12.

When will summer vacations start in Telangana?

The Telangana Board of Secondary Education has announced the dates for Summer Vacation 2026. Summer vacations for all government and private schools in the state will begin on April 24, 2026. According to the board, schools will reopen on June 11, 2026. This decision was made keeping in mind the increasing heat and the safety of students. The board also clarified that if a decision is made to extend the holidays, new updates will be released through local newspapers and official notices.
