According to the Indian Meteorological Department, an alert of severe heat has been issued in Sheopur, Morena, Bhind, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur and Panna. Apart from these, a heavy rain warning has been issued in Damoh, Sagar, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Neemuch, Mandsaur, and Agar-Malwa.
Additionally, Jabalpur, Mandla, Balaghat, Seoni, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, and Pandhurna can expect rain accompanied by thunder and lightning. Light rain and thunderstorms are also likely in Raisen, Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Khargone and Barwani. Bhopal, Indore, and Ujjain can also witness a heat wave.

According to IMD, a rain alert has been issued for Bhopal, Vidisha, Shajapur, Raisen, Sehore, Barwani, and Khargone in MP on June 13. Apart from these, heavy rains can also occur in Burhanpur, Khandwa, Dewas, Harda, Betul, Narmadapuram, Chhindwara and Pandhurna. Along with this, a warning of rain with thunder and storms has been issued in Seoni, Balaghat, Mandla, Dindori, Umaria, Shahdol, and Anuppur.
