Monsoon Forecast: Many states across the country are now experiencing mild chills in the mornings and evenings. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for some states even in October. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected to continue in Kerala, Lakshadweep, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Andhra Pradesh for the next seven days. Another low pressure area is expected to form in the southeast Bay of Bengal around October 21st, which could intensify into a depression over the south and central Bay of Bengal in the next 48 hours.
Heavy Rains Expected in These States
According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected in many parts of South India between October 20th and 25th. In addition, light to moderate rain is expected in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, and Rayalaseema until October 21st. Heavy rain is expected in Lakshadweep between October 23rd and 25th. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a heavy rain alert has been issued for Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana. Additionally, thunderstorms in parts of Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka could cause significant damage.
Rain in Jharkhand
Rainfall is expected in several districts of Jharkhand after October 25th. The weather may change during the Chhath festival, with isolated rain and a potential increase in cold.
Bihar Weather Update
A slight change in the weather in Bihar has begun. Light fog and mist are expected in many districts in the morning and late at night. According to meteorologists, the sky will be clear on Diwali night. There will be mild sunshine during the day, but the heat will not be felt.
