Monsoon Update – Heavy Rain & Thunderstorm Warning Issued for 11 UP Districts and 10 Bihar Districts

Monsoon Alert: The month of September proves to be very valuable in terms of weather changes. This month, there is a lot of ups and downs in the weather level. By September 30, the monsoon departs from many states. The monsoon period is not over yet. Once again, the monsoon clouds are expected to be fully active, which is likely to worsen the situation.

The IMD has predicted heavy rains in various parts of the country between September 11 and 16. Rain warnings have also been issued in 11 districts of Uttar Pradesh and 10 districts of Bihar. Possibility of rain in Bihar

According to the Meteorological Department, rain can once again wreak havoc in Bihar. The IMD has predicted heavy rains with thunderstorms in Gopalganj, Kishanganj, Muzaffarpur, Siwan and East Champaran. Apart from these, light to moderate rain warnings have been issued in Saran, Shivhar, Sitamarhi, Vaishali and Bhagalpur. Anyway, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunderstorms in many districts of Bihar in the next 48 to 72 hours.

Rain warning in many districts of UP

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rain in many districts of Uttar Pradesh on September 11 and 12. According to the IMD, a heavy rain alert has been issued for Rakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, and Siddharthnagar on September 11 and 12.

Apart from these, a heavy rain alert has been issued in Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich and Lakhimpur Kheri. In view of the possibility of lightning, people have been urged to take precautions.

Warning Rain Alert these States

The IMD has issued an alert of heavy rain at many places in Odisha on 11 and 12 September. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on September 13.

Regarding the northeastern states, there may be heavy rainfall in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Manipur. Apart from these, an alert of light to moderate rain has been issued in Mizoram and Tripura from September 11 to 16.
