People have been experiencing significant relief due to the pre-monsoon rains in Delhi.

Rain warning in these states

According to the latest update from the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected in Jharkhand today. Apart from this, there is an alert of heavy rain in Central India and Northeast India. Apart from this, according to Skymet, light to moderate rain can be seen in some parts of Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, coastal Karnataka, West Bengal, and Bihar. An alert has been issued for light to heavy rain in Jharkhand, Odisha, East Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur and Mizoram.

On the other hand, there is a possibility of a storm in Delhi, Gujarat and South India due to cyclonic winds. The Meteorological Department states that there is a possibility of heavy rainfall across India until June 23. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Mumbai, Thane and Palghar.

Delhi weather conditions

The IMD has issued a yellow alert for Delhi-NCR today due to light rain. There may be drizzle or light rain in some areas by late afternoon or evening. Along with rain, winds are also expected to blow in Delhi today. The speed of the winds can reach up to 40-60 km/h. An alert has been issued regarding rain in Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon and Faridabad.
