Monsoon Alert: The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding heavy rainfall in most states of the country. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rains in North-West India from June 25. The Meteorological Department estimates that heavy rains may occur in many parts of Central, East and Northeast India during the next 7 days.

Heavy rain warning in these states
Heavy rains may occur at some places in the Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, and Gujarat regions during 25 to 30 June. Light to moderate rainfall may be observed at most places in Gujarat state, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, and Marathwada during 25-30 June. Apart from this, heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Western Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
Heavy rains have been predicted in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad from June 25 to 27. Apart from this, rain may be recorded in eastern Uttar Pradesh from 27 to 30 June. Very heavy rains are likely in western Uttar Pradesh on 25 and 27, and in Jammu and Kashmir on 25 June.
According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are likely in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh from June 25 to 28. Heavy rains are expected in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on June 25, 28, and 29. Heavy rains are expected in Bihar on 28 June.
