The IMD has issued an alert for heavy rain in southern Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Kerala on February 21 and 22. In eastern India, light to moderate rain with lightning is possible in parts of West Bengal, Odisha, and Jharkhand on February 23 and 24. According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain is likely in Uttarakhand on February 22. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain with thunder in Chhattisgarh and Odisha during 23-24 February.
