Monsoon Alert – Rain Warning for These UP Districts in 12 Hours, Know the Forecast

New Delhi: The weather in North India is quite erratic these days. In Uttar Pradesh, including western UP bordering Delhi, there’s a mix of sunshine and clouds, while some areas are experiencing a biting chill. Rain is also expected in UP after about 12 hours due to the activity of a Western Disturbance.

The rain is expected to cause a drop in minimum temperatures. Cloudy conditions are predicted for Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), several areas of UP may experience thunderstorms and rain.

According to the Meteorological Department, the morning in Lucknow, the capital of UP, is expected to start with clear skies. However, by afternoon, cloudy conditions are expected. Then, two or three spells of heavy rain with thunder and lightning are possible. The IMD predicts winds of 30 to 40 kilometres per hour. There is also a possibility of lightning strikes.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, cloudy conditions are expected in Noida, which borders Delhi, from the morning. A rain alert with lightning and thunder has been issued. Heavy rain with thunder and lightning is possible here.
