Monsoon Alert Live Update: The Indian Meteorological Department issued an orange alert on Monday regarding heavy rainfall in several states. There is already a situation of heavy rain and landslides in Northeast India. Currently, heavy and light rains are occurring in most states of the country. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected at some places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura within the next 12 hours. Heavy rains have caused floods in the Northeast.

Regarding the weather in Delhi, the process of rain accompanied by thunderstorms has continued for the last few days. The Meteorological Department issued a red alert on June 3 due to the potential for heavy rainfall in many areas.
Heavy rains are expected in many areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit and Himachal Pradesh. Apart from these, a heavy rain alert has also been issued in Uttarakhand, Punjab and Haryana.
