Monsoon Alert: These days, south-west monsoon rains are happening in many areas across the country, due to which the situation has become critical. Due to continuous rains in many areas, the temperature level has dropped, and people have got relief from the scorching heat. Due to rain in many places, the water level of rivers, drains and ponds has increased significantly. Due to tolate-nightt rains in many parts of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, the temperature dropped. This gave relief to the people from the heat.

How will the weather be in these states?

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rains with thunderstorms in Rajasthan and western Madhya Pradesh. Along with this, an orange alert has been issued for rain with strong winds in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, southern interior Karnataka, and coastal Karnataka. Then, heavy to very heavy rains are expected in many places in Kerala.

Heavy rains with thunderstorms are expected in Uttarakhand on 20 and 21 July. A red alert for rain has also been issued here. A yellow alert for heavy rain has been issued in most areas of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.
