New Delhi: The people of the country’s capital, Delhi, are now waiting for rain. It is expected that the monsoon may enter Delhi within the next 24 hours, after which a series of rains is likely to start. On the other hand, when it comes to the mountains, it is raining continuously in many parts, where the danger of landslides also looms. Continuous rain is being seen in the hilly parts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Not only is waterlogging due to rain being observed, but a drop in the temperature level is also being seen. In Jammu and Kashmir, some areas are experiencing rainfall, while others are facing severe heat. Due to rain in some districts of UP on the last day, the temperature level went down. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rain accompanied by thunder in many areas of the country.

Rain in Himachal-Uttarakhand

A series of rains accompanied by thunder is being observed in the hilly parts of Himachal and Uttarakhand. IMD has also issued an alert of heavy rain in many districts on Thursday. An orange alert has been issued in most parts. A heavy rain warning has been issued for Bilaspur, Chamba, Hamirpur, Kangra, Sirmaur, Solan, and Una in the next 24 hours. People have also been asked to be cautious here.

When will it rain in UP

According to the IMD, the weather is likely to deteriorate from east to west over the next 48 hours in Uttar Pradesh. A heavy rain warning has been issued in all areas of UP. Due to rain in many places over the past day, the water levels of small rivers and drains have also increased.

Rain warning in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, a heavy rain warning has been issued in Kerala, Karnataka, Goa, and Maharashtra, along with thunderstorms. Apart from this, heavy rain can also occur in Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Not only this, but rain can also occur in many areas of Bihar, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh. A rain warning has also been issued in Sikkim, Mizoram, and Tripura. Rain is expected in Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Puducherry.
