Maha Kumbh stampede – Akhilesh Yadav Calls for Better Management, opposition blames ‘mismanagement’

Mahakumbh Stampede: During the Mahakumbh of faith, everyone reaches Prayagraj to dip in the Sangam on Mauni Amavasya. A massive crowd of devotees is seen going to Prayagraj. After the stampede at the Mahakumbh fair in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, many trains going to Prayagraj have been cancelled. Special trains from Bihar to Prayagraj have been cancelled until further orders are received. Apart from this, many trains are also being diverted from Prayagraj.

On the other hand, Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav has no question about the stampede in Mahakumbh today, i.e. Wednesday morning. Akhilesh Yadav has made five appeals surrounding the UP CM Yogi government. Akhilesh Yadav wrote – The news of casualties of devotees in the accident caused by mismanagement in Mahakumbh is unfortunate. Tribute!

Akhilesh Yadav appeals to the Yogi government.

Akhilesh Yadav appealed to the government and said- Our appeal to the government is that The seriously injured should be taken to the nearest best hospitals as soon as possible an air ambulance.

– Arrangements should be made to identify the bodies of the deceased, hand them over to their relatives, and send them to their place of residence.

– Immediate efforts should be made to reunite those who have been separated from their people due to this crowd.

– Surveillance should be increased even more by making good use of helicopters. To Keep the unbroken amritt tradition of ‘Shahi Snan’ going, arrangements should be made to conduct ‘Shahi Snan of Mauni Amavasya’undert safe management parallel to relief work.

At the same time, Akhilesh Yadav tweeted on the social media platform X, writing, “To re-establish faith in the system among the saints and devotees who have come to Maha Kumbh, the administration and management of Maha Kumbh must be immediately handed over to the army instead of the UP government.”

Now that the truth of the claims of making ‘world-class arrangements’ has come out in front of everyone, those who were making this claim and false propaganda should resign from their post, taking moral responsibility for the people killed in this accident.

We also appeal to the devotees to work with restraint and patience in this difficult time and complete their pilgrimage peacefully. The government should learn a lesson from today’s incident and make additional arrangements for the devotees’ devotees’ stay, food, water, and other facilities. Wishing a speedy recovery to all the people injured in the accident.
