New Delhi: A fierce conflict is unfolding between the United States, Israel, and Iran, where the situation is steadily spiralling from bad to worse. Iran, for its part, shows no signs of yielding in the face of American attacks. U.S. strikes have been focused particularly on Iran’s Kharg Island. According to a report, the U.S. has launched attacks targeting more than 90 military installations in this area.
These strikes have targeted air defence systems, naval bases, and airfields. However, oil-related infrastructure has, thus far, been spared. U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a warning: if Iran attempts to disrupt maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, oil-related facilities will also be targeted. Meanwhile, Iran has issued a major threat against Israel.

The troubles facing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continue to mount, as Iran shows absolutely no willingness to back down. Amidst this tension, the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) has vowed to relentlessly pursue Netanyahu and seek his elimination. Labelling Netanyahu a “child-killer,” the Iranian military organisation declared that they would hunt him down for as long as he remains alive.

Amidst the ongoing hostilities, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Araghchi, has expressed support for bringing the conflict to an end. He stated that Tehran welcomes any initiative or effort aimed at achieving a complete cessation of hostilities.
Top Hamas Commander Killed in Israeli Strike
The Israeli military has carried out an airstrike in the city of Sidon, located in southern Lebanon. Reports indicate that Wissam Taha, a top-ranking Hamas commander, was killed in this attack.

According to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), these attacks were executed with the specific objective of targeting and degrading Iran’s military capabilities.
