New Delhi: The weather is terrible in many parts of India. Along with the cloudy sky, rain has also been seen. Due to heavy rains in many parts of western UP on Saturday night, the temperature level dropped. Due to rain and thunderstorms in some parts of Rajasthan, the wheat crop has suffered a lot.

Farmers have suffered huge losses from hailstorms in many Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan areas. It is still raining in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, and Kashmir. Both rain and snowfall have been seen in the hilly regions. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department has warned of rain in many areas of the country.

Rain in many areas of Uttar Pradesh

According to the IMD, heavy rain is possible in Uttar Pradesh. According to the IMD, a rain warning has been issued in more than 45 districts of UP. It has expressed the possibility of heavy rain with thunderstorms in Kaushambi, Chitrakoot, Banda, Fatehpur, Rae Bareli and Unnao.

Heavy rains will continue in Kanpur, Hardoi, Sitapur, Bahraich, Shravasti, Lakhimpur Kheri and Pilibhit. Rains can be seen in Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Mainpuri, Jhansi, Kannauj, Etawah, Kansganj, Badaun and Aligarh. Light rains with thunder and lightning are expected in Sambhal, Agra and Mathura. The weather is expected to remain dry in both divisions of UP on March 17.

There is a rain alert in these parts, too.

According to the Meteorological Department,  rain can continue in the Uttarakhand, Himachal Prades,d Jamm, and Kashmir mountainous areas. Due to heavy snowfall at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, avalanches may also be dangerous. Four houses are expected to be damaged due to avalanches in Kishtwar.

Rains are expected here, too.

Rains are expected in the northeastern states, too. According to IMD, there may be heavy rains with thunderstorms in Manipur, Puducherry and Arunachal Pradesh. There may be rain at some places in Tripura, Nagaland and Sikkim. Mizoram may also witness rain. Due to rain, there may be a significant drop in temperature.
