UP Weather Alert: Monsoon rains have halted the pace of life in many areas of Uttar Pradesh these days. The lives of the people are being affected by the continuous rain and deteriorating conditions. The situation is so uncontrollable that people are struggling to live. Rivers, drains and ponds, that is, everything is still in spate. Roads have been damaged due to waterlogging, disrupting traffic.
There are many highways connecting other states where big vehicles have been banned. The water level in the Ramganga, Ganga, Gagan and Koshi rivers is still being recorded almost at the danger mark. Farmers’ crops have suffered a lot. The amazing thing is that the people of the state are not at all expected to get relief from the rain right now. The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in 45 districts of UP.

Heavy rain alert in these districts
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning in Deoria, Gorakhpur, Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Kushinagar, Maharajganj and Siddharthnagar. Apart from these, a heavy rain alert has been issued in Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur and Bareilly.
Heavy rain is also expected in Pilibhit, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi and Jaunpur. Heavy rain alert has been issued in Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Hardoi and Farrukhabad. Heavy rain can also be seen in Kannauj and Kanpur Dehat, and Kanpur Nagar. Heavy rain is expected in Unnao, Lucknow, Barabanki, Amethi, Sultanpur, Ayodhya and Ambedkarnagar.

If IMD is to be believed, heavy rain with thunder is expected in Saharanpur, Bijnor, Amroha and Moradabad. Apart from these, a heavy rain warning has been issued in Shahjahanpur, Sambhal and Badaun. Heavy rain is also expected in Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur and Pratapgarh.
Apart from these, a heavy rain alert has been issued in Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Jaunpur and Ghazipur. Heavy rain is also expected in Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar and Basti.
