Monsoon Alert: The weather has turned very bad, due to which the havoc of monsoon rain is being seen at many places. It is raining with thunder in the areas around the capital, Delhi. The temperature level is also falling due to continuous rain. In Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal, due to continuous rain, the water level of many rivers has increased, where there are signs of flooding.

Rain has been continuing in the plains of western UP and Uttarakhand since early morning. Meaning the next 48 hours are not going to be easy here. It is also raining heavily in the northeastern states. Rivers and drains are all overflowing with water. The situation has worsened due to rain in Bihar and Jharkhand as well. The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain with thunder in different parts of the country.

Rain in these districts of UP

The Meteorological Department has issued a rain warning in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. IMD has predicted heavy rain in Agra, Aligarh, Mathura, Mahamayanagar, Etah, Firozabad and Mainpuri. Apart from these, heavy rain is expected in Kannauj, Araria, Etawah, Kanpur Nagar, Kanpur Dehat, Fatehpur and Pratapgarh.

Heavy rain is also expected in Sant Kabir Nagar, Gorakhpur, Siddharth Nagar, Maharajganj, Unnao, Lucknow and Hardoi. Heavy rain is expected in Bijnor, Moradabad and Rampur. Rain is also expected in Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarpur, Baghpat, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar and Bulandshahr.

Possibility of rain in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is expected in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand. It is advised to be cautious of lightning. Heavy rain may continue in many parts of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Apart from these, rain is also expected in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

It may rain in Goa, Maharashtra, and  Karnataka. Rain may continue with thunder in Sikkim, Manipur and Mizoram of the Northeast. The rain may continue in Puducherry, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland also.
