While the rain is giving relief to people in some locations, waterlogging has made life difficult in many places. The level of rain is also continuously increasing in Himachal Pradesh of North India. Apart from this, it has been raining here and there in Uttarakhand and UP since last night. Rain in western UP has once again brought relief from the scorching heat. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in many areas of the country today.

Heavy rain warning in these states of India

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many areas of eastern Rajasthan on July 29. Apart from this, heavy rain is also expected here on July 30 and 31. Apart from these, heavy rain is expected at many places in western Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh on 29th July.

From 29th July to 3rd August, heavy rain is expected in some places in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and eastern Uttar Pradesh. On 1st August, rain and thundershowers can be seen in eastern Rajasthan and western Rajasthan.

Rain is expected in Konkan, Gujarat region, Ghat areas of central Maharashtra on 29th July, i.e. today. At the same time, heavy rains can be seen at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya from 9th July to 3rd August. A rain alert has been issued at many places in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh from 29th to 31st July.

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain and thundershowers in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim from 29th July to 3rd August. Apart from these, heavy rains are expected in Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha. People have been asked to be cautious in view of the possibility of lightning here.
