Heavy Rain Alert: The next seven days will be a relief for people at some places and a disaster at others. Talking about the northeastern states, the temperature may drop due to thunderstorms and heavy rains in the coming days. The weather in Delhi and the surrounding areas seems to have changed dramatically after the rain. Many countries have issued a warning of heavy rain in the coming days.

How will the weather be in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh

Heavy rain warning in these northeastern states

IMD has issued a warning for heavy rain with thunderstorms in the northeastern parts for the next 7 days. Strong winds are expected to blow here at 30 to 50 km per hour. By May 21, rain with thunderstorms is expected to become a disaster in many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya. Heavy rains and strong winds can also occur in many places in Tripura, Mizoram, and Arunachal Pradesh.

Rain alert in these areas too

According to IMD, heavy rains are expected in Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad by May 21. Also, rain and thunderstorms can be seen in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Strong winds are expected to blow here at a0 to 50 km per hour.

Light to moderate rain is expected in eastern Uttar Pradesh, eastern Rajasthan, Delhi and UP till May 21. There may be rain at some places in Punjab, Haryana, western Uttar Pradesh during 19 to May 21. Heavy rain may occur in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar, West Bengal and Sikkim.
