Very Heavy Rain Alert: Heavy rains are continuing in most states of the country. Due to the rain, people in some states are facing significant trouble. Heavy rain warning in West Bengal

According to the Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued regarding torrential rains in many areas of West Bengal from July 24 to 28. The IMD has stated that heavy rains are likely in the sub-Himalayan districts of Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, and Alipurduar from July 26.

Heavy rain warning in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, a heavy rain warning has been issued in many states, including Kerala, Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Konkan, during the next 6 to 7 days. Apart from this, heavy rain has been predicted in the eastern and central parts of the country from July 24 to 28. According to the IMD, heavy rains are expected in coastal West Bengal, Odisha and Jharkhand in the coming days.

The rain is going to continue in many districts of Odisha. The Meteorological Department estimates that many more districts, including Nabarangpur, Koraput, Nuapada, and Malkangiri in the state, may receive heavy rains accompanied by strong winds.Many parts of Telangana are witnessing continuous rain. The IMD estimates that heavy to hefty rains may occur in many areas in the next three days.
