Amid the ever-increasing tension between India and Pakistan, big news is coming from the Gurdaspur district of Punjab. An alert has been issued regarding a blackout in the Gurdaspur district from 9 pm to 5 am daily from May 8 till further notice. Due to the sensitive atmosphere in the border area, this big decision was made to deal with the emergency under the Civil Defence Act 1968, which was based on the instructions of the Central and State Governments. The administration has issued an order regarding a blackout.
Gurdaspur is located on the Pakistan border, so an order to impose a blackout has been issued there. However, this order issued by the administration will not apply to hospitals and the central jail. The windows of the Central Jail, Gurdaspur, and hospitals will remain closed from 9 am to 5 am the next day. Apart from this, all the windows must be adequately covered so that no ray of light can go out.
In Amritsar, there was news of rockets falling in villages Jethwal, Dudhla, Makhanwindi and Pandher at around 1:15 am on Wednesday. Rural SSP Maninder Singh has confirmed this. According to the information, about four explosions were heard one by one on Wednesday night. This created an atmosphere of panic in the entire district.
On the other hand, Pakistan had tried to attack 15 cities of India, which the Indian government foiled and gave a befitting reply. Pakistan had tried to attack Avantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bathinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttar Lai and Bhuj in India.
The Indian government deployed the S-400 air defence system on Wednesday night to show Pakistan its place.
