Greater Noida Accident Update: Several vehicles collided on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway in Greater Noida amidst dense fog. Several people have been reported injured in the accident. The accident severely disrupted traffic on the expressway. Police are on site and investigating the incident. Upon receiving the information, the police immediately arrived at the scene, removed the damaged vehicles from the highway, and promptly admitted the injured to the hospital.

The incident is reported to have occurred in the Bambawar Badalpur police station area. A video of the accident is also going viral on social media. The viral video shows several cars and trucks colliding, while police officers at the scene are seen removing the damaged vehicles.

The Gautam Buddh Nagar Traffic Department has issued new speed limit guidelines on various routes due to safety concerns caused by the fog. On the Yamuna Expressway, the maximum speed for light vehicles is 75 km/h and for heavy vehicles is 60 km/h. Similarly, on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, the speed limit for light vehicles is 75 km/h and for heavy vehicles it is 50 km/h.

12 Vehicles Collided

According to the police, the drivers of the vehicles were having difficulty seeing due to the dense fog. As a result, about a dozen vehicles collided one after another, injuring several people. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. One of the injured drivers said that the fog was very dense and he couldn’t see anything. His vehicle collided with a parked vehicle ahead, after which several other vehicles struck his car from behind.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the Dadri police immediately reached the spot. Police officers controlled the traffic and tried to clear the congestion. After considerable effort, traffic returned to normal. According to the police, there were no fatalities in either accident. However, there were reports that a woman was injured in the incident.
