New Delhi: The dense fog is now turning deadly. In Mathura, on Monday, after midnight, eight buses and three cars travelling from Agra towards Noida on the Yamuna Expressway collided due to dense fog. The collision was so severe that all the vehicles were damaged. Four passengers lost their lives, while more than two dozen others were injured.
The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The Mathura SSP, who arrived at the scene, informed that the accident occurred near milestone 127, near Khadehra village in the Baldev police station area, on the Agra-Noida route. Upon receiving the information, there was a flurry of activity among government departments.

A large number of police and fire department teams immediately arrived at the scene. Rescue operations were launched, and those trapped were safely rescued and sent to the hospital. The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examination. Passengers from the buses were transported in other vehicles. The condition of the injured is reported to be stable.
