According to the Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued for heavy rain with thunder in Darbhanga, Samastipur, Madhepura, Saharsa and Supaul of Bihar. Apart from these, a heavy rain warning has been issued in Araria, Purnia, Katihar, Kishanganj, Sitamarhi and Shivhar.
