According to the Meteorological Department, a heavy rain alert has been issued for 30 and 31 May. An orange alert has also been issued here. Winds are likely to blow at 50 to 60 km per hour.

The maximum temperature in the city today is expected to be 37 degrees, and the minimum temperature is expected to be 27 degrees. There may be rain with strong winds in the coming days. Light to moderate rain is likely in nearby areas like Noida, Ghaziabad.

In the financial capital, Mumbai, rain and a storm made life difficult yesterday. Further, a red alert for rain has been issued for Mumbai, Thane and Raigad. Winds may also blow at 60 to 70 km per hour.

Rain warning in these states

According to the IMD, a warning of heavy rain has also been issued in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, today. Given the possibility of storms and thunderstorms, fishermen have been advised to stay away from the sea areas. The storm has also caused heavy damage in the Aravalli district of Gujarat.

Rain is possible in many places in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. A rain alert has also been issued in Sikkim, Mizoram, Tripura and Manipur. Heavy rain is possible in Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh and Puducherry.
