UP Monsoon Alert: Western Uttar Pradesh has been experiencing sunny conditions since morning, resulting in a temperature increase. In the past day, due to rain in many areas of western UP, the temperature dropped, which gave relief to the people from the heat. From western to eastern UP, the weather is expected to deteriorate once again, resulting in rain.

Storms and thunderstorms can become a disaster. However, there is still time for the monsoon to enter Uttar Pradesh. According to the forecast, the monsoon is expected to arrive in UP by June 20, 2025. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rainfall in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. Winds are also expected to blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometres per hour here.

Heavy rain alert in these districts

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in 60 districts of Uttar Pradesh. There is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in Banda, Fatehpur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur and Sant Kabir Nagar. Apart from these, a warning has been issued for heavy rain with thunderstorms in Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Gonda and Balrampur.

There is a possibility of heavy rain in Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi and Farrukhabad. A warning has been issued for heavy rain in Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Unnao, Lucknow, Barabanki and Rae Bareli. There is a possibility of heavy rain with thunderstorms in Amethi, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Ambedkarnagar, Saharanpur, Shamli, and Muzaffarnagar.

There is a possibility of heavy rain in Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar and Bulandshahr. Heavy rains can cause trouble for people in Kasganj, Etah, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Bijnor, Amroha and Moradabad. There may be rain in Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Badaun and Jalaun. Heavy rains may also occur in Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, and Lalitpur.

A rain warning is in effect in many states.

IMD has issued a warning of monsoon rains in many states of the country. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected in Kerala, Karnataka and Telangana. Apart from these, rain is also likely in Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Strong winds and thunderstorms may also occur in this area.
