According to the information, Air India flight number AI-171 took off at 1:38 pm and crashed at 1:40 pm today. The plane crashed near the Air Customs Cargo Office, which is adjacent to the airport campus.
Black smoke has been seen rising from the crash site in the sky. Currently, the rescue team has arrived at the scene. According to the information, an Air India passenger aircraft, a Boeing Dreamliner 787, has crashed. Pictures of this plane crash are now going viral on social media. Large flames of fire are also being seen in the Meghaninagar area of Ahmedabad. There were 242 passengers on this plane.

There is also news of many people being killed in the plane crash in Ahmedabad. Providing information, the NDRF stated that three National Disaster Response Force teams, comprising 90 personnel, have been dispatched from Gandhinagar to the plane crash site.
A total of 242 people, including 12 crew members and 230 passengers, were on board the plane at the time of the accident. Ahmedabad Police Control Room has confirmed this. According to the information, the plane was en route from Ahmedabad to London and crashed shortly after taking off from Ahmedabad Airport.
