Hyundai Bayon-Based SUV Interior Spied, Dual 12.3-inch Screens, Check Details

Hyundai Bayon-Based SUV: Much speculation has surrounded Hyundai’s new mid-size SUV, and a key detail has now emerged. Spy shots revealing the interior for the first time show a cabin that is highly modern and technology-focused. This new SUV is expected to launch during the festive season. Let’s take a look at the details.

Curved Display Setup

The most striking feature in the spy shots is the curved dashboard display setup. This layout resembles the dual 12.3-inch screens found in the top-end variant of the Hyundai Venue. It likely integrates the digital instrument cluster and the infotainment display into a single curved panel.

This setup appears more modern than the one found in the Creta. While the current Creta features dual 10.25-inch displays, its infotainment system lacks native support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, requiring a separate USB adapter instead.

Dual-Tone Steering Wheel

The interior also features a dual-tone steering wheel, with a design that resembles the Hyundai Venue. It is also expected to sport Hyundai’s new ‘four-dot motif’ on the steering wheel.

The black-and-white finish on the steering wheel suggests that the cabin’s overall colour theme might also be dual-tone. Instead of an all-black interior, Hyundai may be aiming to create a more airy and premium feel by combining light and dark tones.

Distinct from the Creta

To ensure the new SUV stands out from the Creta, significant changes are expected in the exterior design as well as the interior. It is believed that the vehicle will adopt Hyundai’s new ‘Art of Steel’ design language.

This design language is already visible in the company’s new global models. The new SUV is expected to feature T-shaped light bars at the front and rear, squared-off wheel arch cladding, and new alloy wheels. Additionally, the bodywork may feature sharp cuts and creases.

CNG Engine

The engine could be the standout feature of the new Hyundai SUV, setting it apart significantly from the Creta. According to reports, it may feature the Creta’s 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine generates about 115 hp. It is expected to be offered with 6-speed manual and CVT gearbox options.
