Toyota Innova Hycross Facelift: Toyota Innova Hyundai is one of the most popular hatchbacks in the Indian market. Now the company is preparing to bring the facelift model of this popular MPV. The new Toyota Innova Hycross facelift is scheduled to be launched in India on 26 November 2026. The update is expected to feature an SUV-like front design, new alloy wheels, tweaked interiors and a bigger touchscreen. So let’s know about it in detail.
Launch date and price
The Toyota Innova Hycross facelift will be launched in India on November 26, 2026. The current model is almost four years old in the Indian market, so the company is preparing to make changes in its design and cabin. The current Toyota Innova Hycross is priced between ₹19.53 lakh and ₹32.95 lakh, ex-showroom (Mumbai). The price of this facelift model is expected to be slightly higher than the current version.
New front design
The most significant change in the Toyota Innova Hycross facelift is its front part. According to the patent, the new front design will feature a wider and squarer grille than before, with a diamond-shaped opening design. It also gets a new projector headlamp and a new front bumper.
Talking about the side profile, it is expected to retain its existing body shape and MPV design. However, the new alloy wheels can give it a different identity. Changes in the back can be minimal. The LED light graphics inside the taillamps can be changed while parts like the tailgate, roof spoiler, shark fin antenna and rear wiper can remain the same.
Interior
The cabin of the new Toyota Innova Hycross is also expected to get some important updates. The testing prototype shows the layout of the existing dashboard, but it could also feature a taller centre console and a new automatic gear selector.
Apart from these changes, the company can work on a large touchscreen infotainment system and updated software. The new upholstery and dark colour theme can make the cabin look more premium than it did before. This can give a new experience to the people sitting inside the car even if the basic design of the dashboard remains largely the same.
Flex-Fuel Strong Hybrid Engine
The most interesting news about the Toyota Innova Hycross facelift is the Flex-Fuel Strong Hybrid variant. Toyota has already showcased the prototype of the Innova Hycross, which is capable of running on E85 fuel, a mixture of petrol and ethanol. E85 contains a maximum of 85 per cent ethanol and the rest gasoline. However, it is not yet clear whether the Flex-Fuel Strong Hybrid variant will be launched alongside the facelift or it will be introduced later.
