Google Pixel 11 Series: Google is gearing up to launch its next-generation smartphones. The company has scheduled its ‘Made by Google’ hardware event for August 12 in New York City, followed by a launch in India on August 13. Although there is still some time before the official launch date, ongoing leaks suggest that the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold will launch next month.

Pixel 11 Series design and colours

The Pixel 11 lineup is expected to include four models: the standard Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. In terms of design, changes are expected to be minimal. It appears that Google will retain the same horizontal camera module on its slab phones, though the camera island has been redesigned: it features a slimmer profile, with cutouts positioned closer to the edges.

Leaks indicate that the Pixel 11 Pro Fold will be available in ‘Pine’ (a light green shade) and ‘Midnight’ colours, while the Pixel 11 Pro may be offered in four colour options: ‘Dune’, ‘Light Fog’, ‘Pine’, and ‘Sterling’.

Google Pixel 11 Series Specs and performance

Display sizes across the lineup are expected to remain largely the same as last year’s models. According to leaked reports, the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro are expected to feature 6.3-inch OLED panels, the Pro XL a 6.8-inch display, and the Pro Fold a 6.4-inch cover screen alongside an 8.0-inch inner display.

All models in the lineup are expected to be powered by Google’s new Tensor G6 chip, a 7-core processor built on TSMC’s 2nm process. This represents a significant upgrade over the 3nm Tensor G5 chip used in the Pixel 10 series. Google is expected to replace Samsung’s modem with MediaTek’s new M90 across the entire Pixel 11 lineup, potentially improving connectivity and battery efficiency. The series is also expected to ship with Android 17.

While details regarding the camera remain scarce, it is rumoured that Google will retain the setup used in the Pixel 10 series. This implies the Pro model could feature a 50-megapixel main camera, alongside a 48-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 48-megapixel 5x telephoto lens. Meanwhile, the standard Pixel 11 is expected to come with a 48-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 10.5-megapixel telephoto lens. Rumours also suggest the inclusion of an ultra-low-light video mode, Cinematic Blur at 4K 30 fps, a new video relighting feature, and 100x zoom.

Google Pixel 11 Series Price

Regarding pricing, reports indicate that Google might raise prices this year. The Pixel 10 launched in India at ₹79,999, while the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL were priced at ₹1,09,999 and ₹1,24,999, respectively. Prices for the Pixel 11 series, expected to launch next month, are likely to exceed these figures.
