Gold and Silver Prices: Gold and silver prices have fluctuated continuously in India this week. If seen, prices of gold and silver have risen this week. Gold has become costlier by Rs 6 thousand, and silver by Rs 13 thousand. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold has increased by Rs 6,761 this week to Rs 1,49,621 per 10 grams, up from Rs 1,42,860 per 10 grams earlier.
The price of 22-carat gold has increased to Rs 1,37,053 per 10 grams, up from Rs 1,30,860 per 10 grams last week. After the increase in the price of 18-carat gold, it has risen to Rs 1,12,216 per 10 grams, up from Rs 1,07,145 per 10 grams earlier.
Silver became costlier by Rs 13 thousand
Along with gold, the price of silver has also risen. The price of silver has increased by Rs 13,086 to Rs 2,31,381 per kg, up from Rs 2,18,295 per kg (Silver Price Today). This week, the highest price of silver was seen at Rs 2,31,381 per kg in the evening session on 7th August. At the same time, the lowest price was seen at Rs 2,17,287 per kg in the evening session on August 3.
Let us tell you that the prices of gold and silver are released by IBJA twice a day in the morning and evening sessions. Internationally, the price of gold remains at $4,400 per ounce. Apart from this, the price of silver has reached close to $63 per ounce.
According to experts, the rise in gold and silver is driven by inflation risk amid weakness in crude oil. Additionally, the weakening of the dollar index has supported the rise in precious metals.
The gold rate has left people very confused. Gold prices sometimes increase and sometimes decrease.
