According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold has dropped by ₹2,860 to reach ₹1,58,477 per 10 grams, while the price of one kilogram of silver has decreased by ₹2,791 to stand at ₹2,40,000.

Meanwhile, on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the futures price for 24-carat gold fell by 0.20% to ₹1,59,346 per 10 grams by 1:24 PM. It had closed at ₹1,59,663 per 10 grams on the previous trading day. This presents an excellent opportunity for gold buyers: you can purchase gold while also investing.
