Gold Price Today: Daily fluctuations are being observed in gold and silver prices. Gold rates are changing rapidly, and the price has begun to fall again. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the futures price for 24-carat gold opened at ₹1,41,393 per 10 grams in early trading, marking a decline of 0.8% (a drop of ₹1,138). By around 11:00 AM, the rate had fallen further.
Previously, the market had closed with the price of 24-carat gold at ₹1,42,546 per 10 grams. According to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,41,286 per 10 grams by Tuesday evening.
Regarding silver, the futures price on the MCX opened at ₹2,21,777 per kilogram in early trading, down 2.32% (₹5,266). In the previous trading session, it had closed at ₹2,28,665 per kilogram. The IBJA recorded the silver price at ₹2,25,425 per kilogram by Tuesday evening.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the futures price for 24-carat gold (for August 5, 2026, delivery) fell by 1.11% to reach ₹1,40,953 per tola by 11:00 AM. Given that the price had previously closed at ₹1,42,546 per 10 grams, gold has become cheaper by ₹1,593 so far.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the price of silver for September 4, 2026, delivery stands at ₹2,23,606 per unit, reflecting a 2.17% decline as of 11:00 AM. In the previous trading session, it had closed at ₹2,28,665 per kilogram. This indicates that silver has become cheaper by ₹5,059 so far.
