Xiaomi: New Mijia water purifiers from Xiaomi have been added to the smart home ecosystem. The Mijia Water Purifier Pro Dual-Outlet 1200G and 1600G are the two versions that the company has added to its new Dual-Effect Water Purifier Pro portfolio. Along with improved performance, these new models also provide smart app control. Activated carbon derived from Sri Lankan coconut shells and imported RO membrane are used in the 1200G model. As reported by Xiaomi, this model takes only 2.5 seconds to fill a 150mL cup. In addition, the 1600G model makes use of the Toray RO membrane from Japan, which provides a desalination efficiency of 98% and a flow rate of 4.71L/min.

Mijia Water Purifier Pro Dual-Outlet 1200G prices 2599 yuan, or around Rs 30,400, while the 1600G costs 2999 yuan, or roughly Rs 35,000. Pre-sales for these have begun in the company’s home market, and shipments are scheduled to begin on May 8.

The Dual Faucet, Dual Waterway architecture of the new Mijia water purifier distributes drinking water and household water through different tubes. The 1200G model produces 3.2L/min of purified water using imported RO membrane and activated carbon derived from Sri Lankan coconut shells. According to Xiaomi, this model takes only 2.5 seconds to fill a 150mL cup. Other than this, the domestic water flow rate stays between 5 and 8 liters per minute. Also, this model has a 32% larger PPC filter, which improves the speed and efficiency of water flow.

In addition, the 1600G model makes use of the Toray RO membrane from Japan, which provides a desalination efficiency of 98% and a flow rate of 4.71L/min. This model includes a clever touch-sensitive faucet with a 10-level electroplated finish and IPX7 protection.

Xiaomi’s Zero Stale Water 3.0 technology has been integrated into both versions. Users may monitor TDS levels, filter life, water usage, and dispensing volume via the Mi Home app. According to some estimates, the RO filter can last up to six years. The low-noise pump in both variants has six cylinders.
