Xiaomi 17 & Xiaomi 17 Ultra Phone Launching Globally in March 2026- Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra phones have officially debuted in China and are expected to launch globally in early March 2026, just before or during Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. These flagships are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and feature massive batteries and advanced Leica-tuned camera systems. Price & Availability

As previously mentioned, Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra phones have already been launched in China, but now they are expected to launch in the global market and in the Indian market soon in March 2026. However, the exact launch date has not been revealed. The Xiaomi 17 phone is expected to be priced around ₹65,000 to ₹80,000, while the Xiaomi 17 Ultra phone is expected to cost around ₹90,000 to ₹1.1 lakh in India.

Xiaomi 17 phone may feature a compact 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and it may get 3500 nits peak brightness. Simultaneously, the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Along with that, it may get a triple camera setup with 50MP sensors and a 50MP front-facing camera.
Along with that, it features a 7000mAh battery pack for the China version, but it is rumoured to get only a 6330mAh battery pack for the global markets, and it will support 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. The phone runs on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra is the premium imaging-focused model, which features a larger screen and a specialised telephoto lens. The phone also has a large 6.9-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3500 nits peak brightness, which will provide an amazing viewing experience during outdoor usage.
The phone also gets a 6800mAh battery pack for the China models, and it is rumoured to get a 6000mAh battery pack for the global market and it supports 90w wired and 50w wireless fast charging.
It has a triple camera setup in the rear section, which includes a 50MP 1-inch primary sensor and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with continuous 3.2x to 4.3x zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. It also has a dual satellite system for messaging and calls in the China variant, and a special Leica edition with a mechanical zoom ring.
