WhatsApp:The most popular instant messaging program worldwide is called WhatsApp. In India, there are roughly 53 crore WhatsApp users. Although WhatsApp adds new features to make its customers’ lives easier, the company has recently taken significant action against Indian users’ accounts.

WhatsApp is currently the biggest social media network in the world. Voice calls, video calls, and chat are all widely used. For the convenience of its users, Meta continues to add new features to this app. WhatsApp has since taken serious steps against millions of accounts, unfortunately.

In an effort to prevent online fraud, Meta is closely monitoring the instant messaging service. The company has now made an important decision. 8.4 million, or roughly 84 lakh, accounts on the massive instant messaging service have been banned by the company. Because of actions like fraud and cyber fraud, Meta took this action.

In a single month, over 84 lakh accounts were blocked.

In its most recent transparency report, the company stated that it has taken serious steps against accounts that were engaging in improper behavior and breaking the law. 84.5 lakh Indian WhatsApp users reportedly had their accounts blocked by the firm between August 1 and August 31. According to the company, around 16.6 lakh accounts were deleted right away owing to a major rule breach, and the remaining accounts were subject to further action.

This is the reason why an account may be banned.

Let us be clear: Meta removes user accounts for a variety of reasons. The likelihood of an account being banned rises significantly if users use WhatsApp for fraud, spam, or bulk messaging. In addition, Meta bans accounts for disseminating false information. In addition, your account may be banned if you are discovered to be engaged in any activities that are illegal in the eyes of the law.
