Vivo T3 Ultra: The Vivo T3 Ultra walks tall with the confidence of the presence of flagship-class features in the company of a modern and elegant body form factor. It comes loaded with a fast-refresh AMOLED display, powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus processor, and fast charging, for flagship-class performance without a corresponding flagship-class price point. Does it quite suffice then to enable it to break rank with the full, jammed-up midrange group? Here is what is in store.

Design and Build Quality

Vivo T3 Ultra has a slender and slim body with only 7.58 mm in thickness. At 192 grams, it is light but strong to hold. The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor, which contributes to its slimmness. It is comfortable to hold because it is slim, though the average weight can be heavy if carried for a long time.

Display Quality

With an AMOLED display of 6.78 inches, Vivo T3 Ultra boasts a wonderful display resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels, which gives it a pixel density of 453 PPI. The screen even comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate to ensure smooth scrolling and page switching. Local peak brightness is up to 4500 nits to enable reading the material even in extremely bright lights. With 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and 105% NTSC color saturation, the screen is full of true colors that are ideal for multimedia.

Camera Performance

Vivo T3 Ultra features a dual rear camera of 50 MP + 8 MP with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support for super-smooth photography. The camera makes decent photos, but not a flagship. The 50 MP front camera produces decent selfies but misses the latest features that other, more premium phones use. Recording videos is limited to 1080p FHD, which is standard for a phone of this category, though sufficient for regular users.

Performance and Processor

Vivo T3 Ultra employs the Mediatek Dimensity 9200 Plus chip, running at 3.35 GHz with an octa-core processor. It offers speedy performance with flawless multitasking, owing to 8 GB of RAM and an additional 8 GB of virtual RAM. The device is suitable for speed for gaming and multitasking purposes, but lags when it comes to playing resource-intensive games. The storage space of 128 GB is limiting to an extent, more so to people who have a lot more files, because there is no added memory possible using a microSD card.

Battery Life and Charging

The device features a 5500 mAh battery, well within range for this segment, giving the device a day of usage with typical screen time. There is then the 80W flash charging that charges the battery from 0 to 100% in just around 30 minutes. There is no FM radio or 3.5mm headphone jack, though, which may be disappointing to a few users who would like to have those features in their devices.

Connectivity and Additional Features

Vivo T3 Ultra supports 4G and 5G connectivity, as well as VoLTE for regular calls. Bluetooth v5.2 and USB-C v2.0 also contribute to the connectivity aspects of the phone, although the phone lacks aspects like a headphone jack and FM radio. The phone is characterized by stable wired and wireless connectivity and is thus suited for daily use.

Conclusion

Vivo T3 Ultra is a decent mid-range phone with good display quality, fast charging, and good performance. Although its camera, memory, and overall features can’t be compared to flagship models, it’s a good value-for-money phone for consumers who want a low-cost yet effective phone. The Vivo T3 Ultra is an acceptable choice if you’re willing to compromise on the subpar camera and little internal storage.
