Vivo S30: Vivo is once again in the news with its new smartphone series. The company is going to launch Vivo S30 series in China on 29 May. This series will include two models – Vivo S30 and Vivo S30 Pro Mini. Before the launch, Vivo has shared information related to their design, camera and some specifications. The special thing is that this time these phones can come in four great color options – Coco Black, Mint Green, Peach Powder and Lemon Yellow.
May be launched in India as V60
Vivo’s S series is usually limited to China, but many of its features are later included in the V series and launched in markets like India. In such a situation, it is expected that this phone can be introduced in India as V60 series. From the glimpse of the design and hardware, it seems that Vivo is going to give an even more premium feel to its mid-range segment this time.
New twist will be available in design and camera
The camera module of the Vivo S30 series has attracted a lot of attention. Both phones will get a triple rear camera setup in which two sensors will be installed vertically and the third sensor will be on the side. This new camera layout makes the design unique. The camera will be given Sony IMX882 sensor which will help in periscope telephoto shots and will make the picture quality much better.
Powerful battery and fast charging
Both devices are expected to get a 6,500mAh battery, which is enough to give long backup. Along with this, support for 90W fast wired charging will also be given, so that the phone can be charged in a few minutes. Due to the big battery and fast charging, these smartphones can prove to be perfect for long-term use.
Talking about display and processor
The Vivo S30 will have a 6.67-inch 1.5K resolution LTPS OLED display which will give great brightness and clarity. It will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, which will keep the phone’s performance fast and smooth.
At the same time, the Vivo S30 Pro Mini will have a slightly smaller 6.31-inch flat LTPO OLED display which will come with 1.5K resolution and 2.5D curved glass. This variant is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset, which will give balanced and efficient performance.
Changes in software and build quality
Both devices will work on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15. The S30 Pro Mini can have a metal frame while the S30 model is likely to have a plastic mid-frame. This makes it clear that the Pro Mini version has been given a slightly more premium touch.
After the launch, there will be in the Indian market
When the Vivo S30 series will be launched in China on May 29, it will be interesting to see with what name and changes this series enters India. But one thing is certain – features like design, camera, battery and display can make it a strong choice for youth and tech lovers.
