India’s most trusted SUV Mahindra Bolero has now returned to the market in a new Bold style. And this time not only Bolero, but Bolero Neo is also seen in its new Bold Edition. Both the models have a strong look and some great updates, which will be especially liked by the customers of small towns and rural areas. So let’s know what is special in these new Bold Edition SUVs.

BOLD EDITION

Mahindra has introduced Bolero and Bolero Neo as Bold Edition. Both these editions are different from their regular versions, but only in appearance. There has been no change in them mechanically i.e. in terms of engine and performance.

BOLERO NEO BOLD EDITION

The Bolero Neo Bold Edition has been launched in a stunning Napoli Black paint scheme. Its chrome finish has also been given a dark touch, which gives the SUV a bold and premium look. The roof rails added on top give it an even more rugged appeal.

Talking about the cabin, the entire interior is in black theme. Things like black upholstery, pillows and neck cushions give it a comfortable and attractive feel. Apart from this, a rear-view camera has also been provided which makes parking easier.

BOLERO NEO BOLD EDITION ENGINE

Talking about its engine, the Bolero Neo Bold Edition gets the same old and trusted 1.5 liter mHawk diesel engine which generates 98 bhp of power and 260 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and has a 7-seater layout, with jump seats in the third row.

BOLERO BOLD EDITION

If you are a fan of the traditional Bolero, then you will definitely like the Bold Edition. Mahindra has made some cosmetic changes in this edition like black bumpers, dark chrome accents and black seat covers. These changes give the SUV a fresh and modern look that will attract today’s young customers.

BOLERO BOLD EDITION ENGINE

The Bolero Bold Edition gets the same old 1.5-litre diesel engine but the output is slightly lower – 75 bhp and 210 Nm. This SUV is also rear-wheel drive and gets a manual gearbox only.

PRICE

At present, Mahindra has not revealed the exact price of these two Bold Editions. But since they have gone live on the company’s website, it is clear that they will soon be seen in showrooms. The price of these editions can be Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000 more than the regular version.
