Samsung Galaxy F36 5G: Samsung seems to be preparing for a new smartphone launch in its F-series. Having been seen on official support pages last month, the Galaxy F36 5G has now attained Bluetooth SIG certification, indicating that the launch should take place soon. Although the company hasn’t made anything official so far, multiple sightings across regulatory portals are explicit indicators that the device is almost ready to enter the market.
Galaxy F36 5G gets Bluetooth SIG certification
Galaxy F36 5G had appeared recently on the Bluetooth SIG website with model number SM-E366B/DS. The move comes after it appeared on India’s BIS certification site earlier, further indicating backend preparations are in full swing for a launch. Although Samsung has not given a precise launch date, such certifications usually come just a few weeks prior to an official release.
Samsung omits Galaxy F35 in naming series
Interestingly, Samsung seemed to have skipped Galaxy F35 altogether and went directly to Galaxy F36 after releasing the Galaxy F34 5G in August of 2023. No Galaxy F35 was released. This could be a strategic change in the brand’s naming policy, perhaps to better coincide with other lineups or to support an earlier generation. Skipping in naming also suggests that Samsung is looking to feature a more cutting-edge device, not bothering with a mid-step between F34 and F36.
Replicate Galaxy M36 5G
Typically, Samsung follows the same procedure, so the Galaxy F36 5G would be a rebranded variant of a model in the M-series. Here, it might be the sibling of the unannounced Galaxy M36 5G that was already seen on Geekbench with an Exynos 1380 chip, 6GB RAM, and Android 15. If both devices are related as predicted, then the F36 would receive the same hardware with minimal design or software modifications.
