Frugal Price Tag for Frugal Buyers

Realme 14T will be released in two storage variants. The 8GB + 128GB variant needs to be priced at ₹17,999, and the premium end 8GB + 256GB variant priced at ₹18,999. The buyer can get an instant discount of ₹1,000 during the launch period, which makes it an even sweeter deal. All these have been said in case of offline retail, so the prices on the online channel will be a tad higher. Although the launch date is unknown, Realme appears ready to attack the sub-₹20,000 segment of the market aggressively.

Display and Design Features

Sources indicate that the Realme 14T will be accompanied by an AMOLED display with a peak brightness rating of 2,100 nits, thus providing crystal-clear visibility even during daytime use in sunlight.

The phone will have a 120Hz refresh rate as well, ensuring smoother scrolling and gaming. It is said to come with an IP69 rating and, therefore, provide decent dust and water resistance. It is also working on a 6,000mAh battery, which would last a day’s usage with ease. The phone will be launched in Mountain Green and Lightning Purple colors.

Performance Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300

The Realme 14T has already shown up on Geekbench with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset in the driver’s seat. It had a single-core score of 784 and a multi-core score of 2,016, which means good mid-range performance. The phone will likely ship with Android 15 and 8GB RAM for seamless multitasking and gaming.

Camera and Other Features

In the camera department, Realme 14T is said to feature a 50MP main sensor and a 16MP front camera sensor. Even though the setup would fall short in comparison to top-class cameras, it should, at least, meet the bare essentials for standard photography. In-display fingerprint and 45W fast charging are the other plus points.

Final Thoughts

At under ₹20,000, with a large AMOLED display and a powerful battery, the Realme 14T is shaping up to be a serious player in the mid-range smartphone space. While the official launch date remains to be seen, the Realme 14T is worth keeping an eye out for over the next couple of weeks.
