Poco M7 specifications: The Poco M7 series continues to expand, and the latest addition is the Poco M7 4G. Having released the Poco M7 Pro 5G in December 2024 with the Dimensity 7025-Ultra chipset and the Poco M7 5G earlier this year with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, Poco is now preparing its 4G-only version. The new model will be for customers who do not require 5G but desire a feature-rich device.

Display and Design

According to the initial rumors, the Poco M7 4G will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 processor. Like the Poco M7 Plus, the device will sport an enormous 6.9-inch LCD screen with an FHD+ resolution. It will come with a silky-smooth 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 850 nits for a bright outdoor display. Although it is large, the phone will feature an IP64-rated chassis that is dust and light water-splash resistant. The phone will most probably measure 171.08 x 82.05 x 8.55 mm in dimensions, weighing 224 grams, to have a robust yet ergonomic build.

Battery and Charging

One of the features of the Poco M7 4G is going to be its ginormous 7,000mAh battery that will provide plenty of usage on a single charge. The device will come with support for 33W fast charging, but in some areas, particularly in Europe, the retail box won’t include a charger, a trend that’s increasingly popular in the smartphone world.

Performance and Storage Options

The Poco M7 4G would be available in two storage models: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. For those who need more space, the device will have a microSD card slot for expandable storage. HyperOS 2 on top of Android 15 will be pre-installed on it to offer a clean and optimized software experience.

Cameras

For the camera, the Poco M7 4G will have a 50-megapixel main camera for taking high-detailed photographs, and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and calls. The cameras will support 1080p video recording, thus making them ideal for non-professional content creation.

Expected Launch and Market Availability

The Poco M7 Plus 5G was a rebranded Redmi 15 5G, and the new Poco M7 4G is also suspected by the majority to be a rebadged Redmi 15 4G. With almost all the key specifications already leaked, the phone is said to launch officially later this month in some of the global markets, offering a decent choice to budget buyers looking for a large screen, huge battery, and decent performance without the need for 5G connectivity.
