Oppo Reno 14 FS 5G: Oppo supplemented its Reno 14 series with the under-the-radar release of the Reno 14 FS 5G in Luxembourg. The Reno 14 FS 5G first saw the light of day on the day of the global launch of the Reno 14F, Reno 14, and Reno 14 Pro in July, but did not feature at the event. The device has now finally joined Oppo’s mid-range 5G series as a rebranded Reno 14F 5G.

Design and Display: Slimmest Body with Colored Panel

The Reno 14 FS 5G comes equipped with a 6.57-inch AMOLED foldable display supporting a pixel resolution of 2372 x 1080 pixels. With high-refresh-rate 120Hz and 1400 nits peak brightness for maximum brightness mode, the screen offers silky smooth graphics and sharp clarity even in bright sunlight. The display is also protected by AGC Dragontrail DT-STAR D+ glass, and an in-display fingerprint reader optical contributes to the phone’s modern security features. The device is powered by ColorOS 15.0 built on Android 15, providing the most recent software experience out of the box.

Cameras: A Capable Triple-Lens Setup

For photography, the Reno 14 FS 5G comes with a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera, accompanied by OIS, along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro. The combination provides versatility for different applications, from wide angles to close-ups. The front boasts a 32MP autofocus camera, for selfies and high-quality video calls, targeting social media professionals and influencers.

Performance and Hardware: Snapdragon Muscle with Ample Storage

In terms of processing, the Reno 14 FS 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, accompanied by 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The duo ensures smooth performance for day-to-day activity, multitasking, and low-level to moderate-level gaming. The device is powered by a 6,000mAh battery that offers 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging. It also includes support for a wide range of charging standards like 33W SUPERVOOC, 15W VOOC, PPS, PD, and QC, and therefore it is really universal to charging situations. 

Other Features: Durable and lightweight

Though it comes with an enormous battery, Reno 14 FS 5G weighs just 180 grams and measures 158.12 x 74.97 x 7.74/7.78mm, depending on the variant. It comes with IP64-rated water and dust resistance that gives it some level of protection from splashes and exposure to dust. It comes with NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi, USB-C, stereo speakers, and dual SIM card support with Nano-SIM + eSIM options, thereby making an equally well-balanced offering for modern users.

Price and Availability: Pending Confirmation

The Oppo Reno 14 FS 5G already has a listing on Oppo’s local official website in Luxembourg. The device will be available in two fashionable colors, Opal Blue and Luminous Green, with one variant of 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The official prices have not been announced by Oppo yet, so consumers have to wait to learn how it will stack up against others in the European mid-range smartphone market.
