Oppo Reno 14 5G Series: Oppo officially released the Reno 14 5G series, which arrived in China sometime last month. According to new leaks, the Reno 14 5G and Reno 14 Pro 5G are now rumored to land in India by the first week of July. The new series hopes to follow up on the success of the Reno 13 series, which became available in India in January this year.
India Launch Schedule Presumably to Commence in Early July
As per popular tipster Yogesh Brar, the Reno 14 5G and Reno 14 Pro 5G may enter the Indian market sometime during the first week of July. Even though he has not said anything about an exact launch time yet, this fits into his earlier rumors. Oppo too hasn’t announced the confirmed global release date yet, but Indian users will get two color options, including a sophisticated Pearl White coating.
Expected Specs: Similar to Chinese Counterparts
Indian variants of the Reno 14 5G series are expected to follow the Chinese counterparts in specifications. While the base variant is likely to have the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, the Pro variant could ship with the marginally more powerful Dimensity 8450 SoC. Both handsets are likely to have 80W SuperVOOC fast charging support, and battery capacities of 6,000mAh on the base variant to 6,200mAh on the Pro.
Camera Configuration to Emphasize Versatility
Oppo is heavily emphasizing camera features in this series. The Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro 5G could come with a rear triple 50-megapixel configuration featuring a periscope telephoto sensor, in addition to a 50-megapixel front camera. This positions the series as a serious player in the camera-focused smartphone segment, especially for photography enthusiasts and content creators.
Expected Pricing Based on Chinese Models
The Oppo Reno 14 5G in China starts at CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs. 33,200) for the 12GB + 256GB version. The premium 16GB + 1TB variant is available for CNY 3,799 (around Rs. 45,100). The Reno 14 Pro 5G begins at CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs. 41,500) for the 12GB + 256GB version, and reaches up to CNY 4,499 (around Rs. 53,400) for the most premium 16GB + 1TB variant.
Cashin’ in on the Reno 13 Legacy
The Reno 13 series, which was rolled out earlier in India, received a good response, with the Reno 13 5G being sold for Rs. 37,999 and the Pro model beginning at Rs. 49,999. The Reno 14 series, which is to hit the market soon, appears set to ride on that success, providing a mix of design, performance, and camera advancements at mid-premium prices.
