OnePlus 15: OnePlus may launch its next flagship device OnePlus 15 later this year. However, before the official launch, a big leak has surfaced regarding the rear camera setup of this smartphone. According to the latest information, the company can give a triple rear camera setup in OnePlus 15 similar to OnePlus 13.
Larger sensor can be found in camera configuration
According to the leak, OnePlus is still not able to finalize the camera setup of OnePlus 15. The company is currently working on a prototype that includes three 50-megapixel cameras — a primary camera, a secondary sensor and a telephoto lens that will support 3x optical zoom.
The company is testing large and ultra-large sensors for the main camera, while A/B testing is being done on small and medium size sensors for the telephoto sensor. This leak is based on information shared on Weibo by China’s popular tipster Digital Chat Station.
Hasselblad camera setup of OnePlus 13 may be repeated
The OnePlus 13 featured a Hasselblad branded triple camera setup, which included a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary sensor, a 50MP S5KJN5 ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP Sony LYT-600 telephoto lens that offers 3x optical zoom. The same configuration can be used in the OnePlus 15 as well, although some hardware changes are possible.
Front camera and display were also discussed
For selfies, the OnePlus 13 had a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 front camera. So far nothing has been said for sure about the front camera of the OnePlus 15, but it is expected that it will also get a powerful selfie camera.
Talking about the display, recently leaked information told that OnePlus 15 will get a 6.78-inch flat LTPO panel with 1.5K resolution. Its design is being described as iPhone-like.
Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset will be available in performance
Inside OnePlus 15, the company is going to provide Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, which will be Qualcomm’s next flagship processor. With this, the performance of the phone is considered to be very powerful and future-ready.
Launch timeline and global rollout
OnePlus 15 can be launched in China in October or November 2025. Talking about the global launch, it is possible in January 2026. Earlier OnePlus 13 was launched in India in January, with a starting price of ₹ 69,999.
